Existing Reservations
All changes and cancellations to existing hotel reservations must be made directly with your hotel. All updates and cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival. Failure to do will result in a charge to your credit card of one night room and tax (15.6% tax). Space and rates are based upon availability.

Our evening events are designed for Conference attendees, however if you are traveling with a guest and would like to bring him or her along, you may purchase a guest pass for $250 which will provide access to the following:
- Welcome Reception: Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
- The Attendee Party: Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 6:30 – 11:30 p.m.
Please Note: Guest passes provide access
only to the events listed above and do not include access to general session, conference meals, breakout sessions or the exhibition hall. Guests must be 21 years of age or older and will be required to wear an event name badge or the designated wristband for admittance to the events above. One guest is allowed per attendee. No exceptions for infants or children. Guest Fee: $250 USD per guest
† Please note all attendees must present a photo ID to check-in at the event. All registration cancellations must be received online or in writing via email to
BIC2008@microsoft.crgevents.com by the dates listed below. In the event that Microsoft Business Intelligence Conference 2008 is cancelled by Microsoft, registrants will be reimbursed their registration fees only.
Event Pass: Full refund minus
$250 USD processing fee when cancellation received by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Monday, September 8, 2008. No refund after September 8, 2008.
Guest fees: A refund will be issued for cancelled guests, unless the registrant has checked into the conference
Substitutions: To perform a substitution the original registrant should go the Microsoft Business Intelligence Conference 2008 registration site at www.MicrosoftBIConference.com. Select the Returning Services option, login using the original registrant’s username and password, and select ‘Update my Registration.' A new person may substitute for an active registration for the same registration fee.
- The original attendee should not cancel the registration.
- If the payment method is changing, the new attendee must provide payment prior to issuing a refund to the original attendee.
- The event team will facilitate the transfer of hotel reservations up to September 17, 2008 by 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Substitutions requested after September 10, 2008 by 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time require the attendee to contact the hotel directly with reservation changes and cancellations.
- The registrant is responsible for canceling or changing travel reservations.
